Machinarium Pocket Edition App Reviews

The puzzles are really challenging, which wouldnt be so bad except that the touch support isnt great. Found myself having to tap repeatedly in the same place before it would figure out what I was trying to hit. Made what might have been a fun challenge an experience in frustration.

Everything about this game is amazing except the absolutely terrible controls. I refuse to believe that this is the best you can do in regards to porting this to iOS. Fix the controls to be much more sensitive and this review automatically goes to 5 stars.

It simply isnt meant to be played on a small phone screen. Not only is it nearly impossible to see the details and clues that you need to progress, but your finger obscures your actions. I find myself constantly taking screenshots and exiting the game so I can zoom in in the images and read text or view clue images, and even to figure out what some objects are. Sigh! Wish I had read reviews with similar complaints before buying this.

Clever, seamless, beautiful, imaginative, and challenging.

Every time I exit the game and go back later to play my save is gone. Only option is start new game. I have for ps3 and love it but wanted something to play at work

this game is phenomenal! I love the graphics and the dark simplicity of the games theme and world. the challenges provided are a perfect mix of fun and difficulty, but not too hard that they leave you irritated and stuck. my only complaint would be the fact touch controls vary sometimes, but I give this game a 9/10. x

Wow, did anyone actually test this game on a real iphone before putting it out there? I cant get past the first two moves and havent a clue how to do anything. Ridiculous to market a game only to people who have played it before. Waste of money!

Its really good, but some levels are literally impossible to solve without looking up a walk through. 4 stars on me!

Stuck on vacuum level. Cleaner in middle of room. Lever wont make it move so cant progress. Love love love this game to this point. Please fix!!!

The game itself is amazing. The art is great, and the puzzles are challenging. Theres only one problem as far as I can see - the game treats pinch-zoom and dragging the screen around as tapping on where you lifted your finger in addition to the expected function. ...The app icon is glossy. It wasnt glossy before.

Great game! I love it, but Im stuck on the vacuum cleaner level. The vacuum is in the middle of the room an the lever wont move it so I can move on.

Sad its over! Love this game. I enjoy the puzzles & variety of challenges. Even the old-school game challenges. Wish it wasnt over though. To me it has a certain Myst/ Riven flair to it which I love. I get bored really quickly with most games, but not this one! Please bring a sequel (or Machine-quel)!

Amazing graphics full of charm and originality. Wonderful gameplay with challenging puzzles. And that all important mojo that a great needs. Warning: there is a bug on the lamp puzzle that sometimes causes you to end with a missing piece preventing you from going further.

Really enjoyed this game. Some specifics of interaction: 1) One has to do a lot of pinching and zooming. Unfortunately, this jesture gets confused with pointing, so it is hard to control the robot. Please make these gestures distinct enough to disambiguate them. 2) Some of the retro real time shooter puzzles have maddeningly small difficult buttons/control. Please oversize them for the pocket edition. Or make these a little easier for the pocket edition. Holy Carpal Tunnel Batman!

I love that this game was so much fun just beautiful. Please please make more I will buy!!
